Yeah. We're thinking about painting

it on the wall. That's a very evangelical thing to do. Yeah. I almost could, I could just go to Hobby Lobby and pick one up probably. Yeah, you don't have to paint it. You can find there Etsy. I sometimes ask myself, and my wife and I have talked about this, like, okay, if we're not going to raise him Christian, what are the chances realistically that whatever we replace that with will be better for like, and on what evidence will we think it will be better? That's a really hard question to answer. Like, what what will end up happening is whatever we raise him with is actually going to be pretty thoroughly Christian, even if there isn't a lot of like overt stuff there. And so that's, that's not quite a true decision, right? That's not the real choice we're making. But I like the way that that question sets up the stakes and a sort of a probabilistic lens. And I like the wisdom tradition sort of tie in with all of that. I think that's why I like that question so much of the, of the, of the wisdom tradition

thing. Like we just, we have such an opportunity to do this differently and, you know, not to use the cliche that probably all deconstructing, deconstructing people hate, but like throwing out the baby with the bath water is a really big temptation. And, you know, at this point, I think people are more than justified to do that if they feel they need to. But I mean, there are other ways to do Christianity, like even from the very beginning, like maybe, like from the very beginning, there were other ways to do Christianity. And the one that made it to 2022, 23, whenever this episode comes out, is not like just because it's here doesn't mean it was the best way, doesn't mean it's the only way. And hopefully this conversation about canonization, like even the Bible is not something that has to be the way it is. Like it's not anti-Christian to say, I don't want my kids to read versus Second Timothy because it talks about women not being leaders in church. Like your kids don't need to read for Second Timothy. And there's nothing heretical about that. Like those texts didn't exist when Jesus was, was around. I love it. I love thinking about things like that.

Yeah. But all scripture is God breathed. He was writing about the Old Testament. I know, but he's also writing about the New Testament. How do you know that? Because we all agree that he was also talking about the New Testament. Yeah. I mean, it's like, but you just get in these entrenched habits.
