I think it's common for people who have this let's do discovery learning vibe right who are kind of more into that way of thinking about things. It seems like when you do this more direct instruction kind of stuff more guided instruction actually a lot of the time if you do it really well then that is something that really develops character. Marva Collins another example the her kids have radically changed as people because of her teaching and her teaching was incredibly guided so I think that's another important thing that I just I threw in here but it could be  something that you know they might mention but they weren't actually mentioning it because it's not their aim.
