The Metaverse - The Presentation Layer

The web is a way of standardizing how we deliver the presentation layer. HTML isn't amazing for delivering things like 3D immersive experiences. People have come up with systems that use things like JavaScript to do that. There's really interesting work happening in things like web assembly. I'm personally a big fan of the idea that accessing the metaverse in the future is going to tap into a lot of things that come from web technology. A web has to get more real time. It has a lot of problems we have to solve.
