A burglary report was filed the same day Teresa was brutally murdered earlier in the morning. Ambrose Griffin had been shot and killed just a few blocks away from where Teresa's body was found. On January 25, police interviewed a young couple who reported having sold two puppies to a man as scrawny with stringy hair. The following day they found one of those puppies dead on their patio after it had been cut open by an unknown assailant.
