The languages that the people spoke are underestimated and they're not appreciated enough by all of them. You know, East Africa, massive Arab influence. And then you have the Portuguese influence and then the Spanish influence on the West Coast. Everything that's north of the Sahara is not what people understand to be Africa. It is quite fascinating.
