The Deflationary Theory of Truth
The deflationary theory of truth is probably the leading contender in contemporary philosophy. It's not as big a liberation as you might think doesn't mean that anything goes or anything like that it just means you've got to take your procedures one at a time. You can say of this proposition it's true this proposition is false but you're never actually using a general term which has a general property to bring on to the table so there's nothing to be a thorough theorize about. i've wasted my entire life because i've written this i've led it to the third on the notion of truth and yet the result is that there's absolutely nothing to say about it well that was an interesting talk
