The Bleakness of a World That Has Been It's Spiritually Exhausted

McCarthy kind of marries these two together because his characters they don't go on you know you don't sense this this deep religiosity in any of his characters. What you see though is that bleakness of a of a world that has been it's spiritually exhausted and I can identify with that. He brings this savagery and he pulls in that existential the conditions that I was talking about maybe with our ancestors but yet there's this other bleakness that we can identify more with.
