Isn't an Economic Crisis a Defensive Problem?

i think a lot of think that military and economy are two different categories, but it's only because we choose to talk about them that way. You know, if you look at ukraine and russia,. we're talking as much about their economic ability to wage war as their sical ability. Do they have the money to keep re supplying and staying in business? i would say that using the strategic oil reserves was going to benefit only your economy, but it actually made a difference. It doesn't look like it oud make any real difference in the real world, in which case it's just a political signalling.
