Is There a Difference Between Human Rights and the Strategic Impetus of Government?
The President talks about this as an inflection point in world history that comes along every six or seven generations. And I think there has been an awakening to the fact that in different ways, too many people have been left out, left behind. When I started in government in the early 1990s, you turned on your TV at 6.30 at night and watched one of three channels. Now, we're on an interview being a speed of information every single day, every single millisecond of the day. That has created a number of things, including incredible pressure for those of us who are in government.
