The Circle Rid of Carnap and Martin Heideger
At the time, in central europe, a kind of post hegalian stream of philosophy was building claims on quite abstruse metaphysical reasoning. Their opponents were metaphysicians who used claims which didn't seem like they could be proven logically and mathematically. And so for ta circle, this is a paradime example of something which, it's not too profound for science or logic. It's just nonsense.
