Big farms don't have to be vast bleak monocultures. But our large farms more efficient a study by the British government found that among the best performing farms in England big and small farms actually had very similar productivity rates. So what about scaling up organic methods? Back in the used in the state office I asked Andrew if he thinks we could produce enough food if all farms were organic.
