Child Bearing in the Church

As women become more prominent in this particular part of the churches and society's task, we should not be surprised to see certain sort of deceptions take root. Paul was very concerned that this not happen in the context of the church. Child bearing, so often marginalized in modern society, is by no means marginalized in scripture. The christian woman who bears children and raises them is playing her part within the greater drama of nation. She does not have to usurp the place of adam to have that significance. If prayer is the primary political task of the church, how can we commit ourselves to performing it more mindfully?
