Antimicrobial Resistance - What's the Scale of the Threat?
Most recent figures show that at least 1.3 million deaths per year are attributable to antimicrobial resistance. There's probably a far wider effect beyond that by 2050, I think, that is projected to double. So we're facing quite a serious problem here.
