Alison murphy is a local school teacher in the area, and someone who is involve in civil society. But it strikes me that the problem, and particularly so you talked about the nineteenth century clubs, associations. It was great if your face fitted, but if your face didn't fit, you were blackballed from your club. If you were gay in a working class ara, you had a problem. So where is the protection for people who don't fit their groups? And whereis a protection where sometimes these associations just get hold of the wrong ideas?
