Social Engineering and Scams - Is This a Scam?
This is fuelled mostly by social engineering. It could also be fuelled by the overflowing of information on social media. You know, all they have to do is find a phone number, two seconds to look up on facebook and see what your family's names are. And especially audio, in my opinion, think audio deep fakes are very convincing. So this couldn't even be like an automated thing one day where it's just like automated and sent out t like a whole set of leaked phone numbers from a data breach yet. Ye, you and me are screwed.
