The Importance of Mesh in Smart Home Devices
A lot of things can actually be connected via ethernet, which just takes them out of the equation completely. It's probably not realistic to expect most people who are super enthusiastic about smart home devices to have any real control over how noisy those devices are or aren't. If at all possible, even if you've got a wireless backhaul mesh network, like an ERO or a plume or Netgear or what have you, you're much better off if you can plug things into satellites.
