How to Make a Six Figure Kickstarter Campaign

If you just have one book or a couple of books then definitely don't do a Kickstarter. It is not some magic button that will make you money like uploading to Amazon it's not a magic button that'll make you money. But if you do want to build a long term author business then selling direct should have some part to play and Kickstarter is a great way to make more money per book and connect with readers. Now I'm certainly not an early adopter on Kickstarter like I said I've been backing projects for over a decade so I'm not early on this. The time is coming when people will be selling direct more hence a Shopify thing but I feel like Kickstarter goes really well
