Is Beauty a Signal From a Healthy Individual?

Sexually selection happens in lots and lots of parts of the animal kingdom. We use those signals to make ridiculous choices, choices about who to vote for or who to hire. The key word that we often don't use is conventional. This person is conventionally attractive because it keeps changing. That's just the way i feel, that's just what i'm attracted to. But why are we attracted? Why are we attracted to these things that feel beautiful to us?
