The Transformation of Life in Jesus Christ

The word Telestai was used during the Greco-Roman period to describe rabbis, parents and policemen. It's interesting that Paul says his number one goal is to present everyone for whom I'm responsible as teleos in Jesus Christ. The idea is that we lead people to maturity to the place where they become exactly like Jesus Christ to so many people around them.
