Westminster Reporting: A Shadow of What It Used to Be
Westminster reporting is definitely a shadow of what it used to be. There aren't the numbers in the lobby anymore to do the kind of detailed reporting that many journalists would like to be doing. The sub stack culture I think is really interesting as well. Duncan Weldon who was once the News Knights Economics Correspondent, an incredibly intelligent, clever man with a lot to say. He has completely stepped back from using the traditional channels and runs his career through sub stack now. That's a sign of a broke and pressed.
