How Did Stephen J. Gould Get Into What Was Luck?
In 1991 Stephen J. Gould still found it hard to believe that luck played such a big role in his success after all he had already made a profound mark on the study of evolution. He was an extremely prolific writer and researcher who'd published hundreds of scientific papers and hundreds of popular essays. His courses at Harvard were wildly popular and difficult to get into what was luck compared to sheer hard work. "If you like something it's not a load let's take time so I work all the time" says Gould.
