Introduction
A rich man from Eremathea named Joseph who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. The Romans made a point with this style of execution, but in order to maintain some sense of sanity and control they couldn't do it outside Judea or Galilee. It looks like there's a provision for burial in the public grave as a concession that is in keeping with Jewish sensibilities.
