The History of Xerxes

In the interim, Xerxes does exactly what he was told to do in those three visions. He sends out an advanced company of engineers to dig a canal across this peninsula that Mount Athos is on. The force is described over the course of pages and pages of Herodotus's work. You can still apparently see it today.
