How a Patient Became Hysterical After an Operation
After a routine operation, the patient began growling and howling. Drugs had no effect, and he suffered convulsions and was violently sick. By then, six members of staff were trying to restrain him. He bit one nurse before she could catch him and stop his head hitting the floor.
