The Fed's Statement on Liquidity Slash Deposit Crisis
It is likely that at least parts of what we're seeing right now will eventually end up as de facto QE. And in such case, it would even remove those bonds permanently from the private market and move them to the Fed balance sheet. If we are to see even firmer or tighter credit standards from here, I feel relatively certain that it is the trigger for a recession. The Federal Reserve even directly referred to lending standards, credit tightness in their statement yesterday.
