Language Is a Survival Skill

Robin carhart harris is the head of the centre psychodelic research at imperial college london. In two thousand and 14 he published a paper in which he speculates that the Psychodelic experience is akin to a primitive state of consciousness. Silisiben, for example, causes an elevated entropy in certain brain functions. Thereis a collapse in communication between brain regions that normally co operate relationships that result in what we call consciousness. But as expansive as language is, there are limitations. A vocabulary designed for tribes of a hundred and 50 people does not work very well in a global village. And a language that still attributes diseases to divine forces is equally outdated.
