The problem is not that young people don't care. The problem is, as young people are not following through on their a existing attitudes and intentions to voted. Part of that is because it's so damn hard to get registered and vote in this country. And they have this misperception about what it takes to be a good voter. They don't want to just be a party hat. That's pretty much it. If they're the kind of person who registers for classes on time or at all, they're going to be thekind of person who votes. But if they're kind of personwho forgets that they have to actually play cop paying car insurance, they're not.
