The Battle of Zululand

Colonel anthony william dernford had not once seen action in all his years of military service. He volunteered to organize an alete force of native soldiers from nital to fight alongside the british. But he found himself cut out of the main action as Lord chelmsford did not trust him, thinking his hunger for glory made him impetuous. So dernford and his company were stationed at rork's drift in western zululand to help monitor the border areas with nata. Dutifully, but bitterly, durnford followed his orders.
