The Role of Non-Essential Trauma in Interviewing Children
I was essentially trained if there's concern for sexual abuse, which I know is outside the scope of this episode, it was basically like stop talking to the child so that you're not influencing them and have it bring in our child abuse colleagues. Is there ever a role for non-essential trauma where that should also be the case where we as the primary care provider or the resident or the person team that you are should stop asking interview questions? Yeah. We always want to think about what is best for the child and what do we need to know medically.
