How to Write Essays to Universities

I knew what a university was in concept but I didn't have an address for any university so I ended up writing these letters to every university I'd ever heard of the addresses. Oxford wrote back and said well you're a bit of a strange candidate why don't you write as a couple of essays and we'll think about it. Then I went kiwifruit picking to earn money and I managed to get enough money for about half my ticket back and I flew back and did the interview for Oxford. It took quite a long time for me to really you know integrate socially but certainly by the third time I've made friends, he says.
