How to Write Essays to Universities

I knew what a university was in concept but I didn't have an address for any university so I ended up writing these letters to every university I'd ever heard of the addresses. Oxford wrote back and said well you're a bit of a strange candidate why don't you write as a couple of essays and we'll think about it.
