The Problems With the Protestant Interpretation of Scripture

I wanted to avoid more or less falling back into the same epistemological crisis that Protestants are in, you know, namely trying to find Bible verses to substantiate my own opinion. The Catholic Church has been around much longer than I have and already has a very strong interpretive tradition and understanding for how scripture and individual person and the community relates to one another. You're not going to be able to read the Bible and just immediately get all of Catholicism on your own. But that's more or less what I'm doing here.
