I pitched it as if Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood from the Great British Bake Off had to fake date in order to save their careers. And so these two celebrity hosts, Nina is a chef and Leo is a restaurateur, discovered that they really do have to fake date for success. So we have the lightness and comedic humor of a rom-com. But I also wanted to tackle these bigger issues of sexism and gender stereotypes and roles that we see on TV or how we treat women who act outside of those roles.
