Morton Thiakol and the Space Shuttle Challenger Disaster

Morton Thiakol was responsible for creating the booster rocket that ultimately exploded. Rockwell International, Martin Marietta and Lockheed were involved in other parts of the Space Shuttle mission. The fact that within minutes of this event, MortonThiakol was singled out does suggest that for whatever reason, there was wisdom in saying that that company was going to be more effective.
