My Dad's Fift Birthday

My dad has always loved food. He might not be what many would consider the best chef, but he's a great cook. And it's alwas been, it's always been this love language within my family. I did not mention to my father that it was my fift birthday. For much of the evening, i thought he'd forgotten. We ate chas he reheated in the toaster oven and we spooned steamed eggs with scallions and white pepper on to our bowls of rice.
