Is the Second Law Fundamental?
The other camp claims that there can be a formulation of the second law that is universally true and still compatible with reversible dynamics at all scales. None of them really works to the end of creating a universal exact law. Only o these paths is based on counter factuals. As i shall explain, it is the only one that has some potential to be successful in this endeavour.
