Is There a Future for Web Three?

Web three is a set of protocols that developers can use to build applications in a way they could not have done before. The word has been everywhere, and the two bost words i've seen by people intac at atac you know, everyone's just kind of throwing that word around. I think especially may be for right now and financeand maybe in t future, in social media. But i don't think that the way that i would describe it is like its replacing it.
