The Use of Ketamine in Mental Health
Ketamine has a very rapid and robust antidepressant effect that can be seen in hours or days. Most people are using generic ketamine off label for treatment resistant depression, maybe some PTSD. The preponderance of ketamine therapy is being done with sublingual and some intramuscular dosing with psychotherapy. There's not a lot of data out there to say like ketamine therapy does something specific and that's not bad or good. And then the other nuance that you talked about, which is that there is spervato, which actually has an indication by the FDA but for psychedelic therapy, that's not what almost anyone's using.
