Novel Robotic System Can 3D Print Cells Onto Organs Inside the Body
Engineers from UNSW developed a miniature flexible soft robotic arm that they can insert into your body, like sort of like an endoscope. From that tiny thing, they can deliver biomaterials or drugs and sort of have it collect on the surface of organs or tissues. This robot is called F3DB, which they managed to get 3D into the name. It stands for flexible in Cito 3D bioprinter, which I still think is a horrible name because they could have just gone with Bender but never mind.
