Netflicks, and particularly netflicks, are taking a slightly different approachto it's not that they're gambling huge amounts on a handful of projects in the days when it was all about box office grosses. Instead, commissions loads of stuff. Is a kind of scatter gun approach to content commissioning. And lets its algaritm decide, letting its consumers decide, by the algorithm, what's going to be a hit.
