Urban Renewal

Urban renewal was a program developed in the US imported by CMHC to Canada. It took these dilapidated areas of town, urban areas and wiped them clean. And then when they displaced the people, they would put them into public housing. So we're hopeful that as this work picks up more steam, more people who've been impacted,. including not just the black community, but anybody else who has displacement can find their way to be part of this vision.
