The Reds' Overperformance in the World Series

The baseball giant's projection for 2021 we could have said well they're a lot better than we thought they'd be but because we could quantify that it was 30 wins or whatever it was and it was the biggest overperformance of the projection era. I think all else being equal probably having projections having some sort of consensus or statistically driven expectation does make you more inclined to think oh this is weird then if everyone's expectations and personal projections were scattered all over the mapYeah I think that that's right anyway I don't think the Reds are cheating but if they lead the league in wins and they win the World Series and they just go wire wire then you know we'll probably talk about the Reds more
