Is That a Seasaw?
There is this device, anyway, which they seal to the abdomen, and it's got handles which you can push and pull. Now, basically, once this resuscitation attempt was often running in the intervention arm. They had one person providing manual chest compressions, so just like we're used to,. but this was alternated with abdominal compressions. When the chest was compressed, the abdomen was simultaneously decompressed, and vice versa. All at a rate of about a hundred beats per minute.
