How to Remember Names

I forget names of people I see regularly. It is embarrassing for me and offensive to some as it seems dismissive to them that I can't even remember their name. Any practical suggestions for remembering names? Yes. A few practical little things I do with my clients. We write people's names and who they are in a note section of their iPhone so that if you run into someone, you can quickly look up who they are. The other thing is to invent little rhymes for yourself, you know, and to have those be fun because we're creative and to think about that.
