When Is Lying Justifiable?
If we're trying to come up with rules of behavior for people, or moral principles to follow, it's just about the worst, isn't it? Abraham doesn't tell the boy's mother where he's headit, first of all, a lie by omission at least. Imagine making a decision like this about your son without including your wife. It's not the best or highest or most spiritual activity one can imagine.
