Do you see Bush Jr as actually a tragic figure? Yes, I do. And I have some real sympathy for him, because to invade or not to invade is to make a binary choice in a situation that is given as I write to mysteries. You don't know fully what is the morale of the country on the ground. With all the information you get from your intelligence services, that's only 20 or 30% of the evidence. The Ukraine war will influence the trajectory of Russia in a much greater degree than the Iraq war influenced the trajectory of the United States.
