The Biosphere and the Post-Industrial World
The rest of the natural world is just a cycling of the same atoms in the biosphere layer very little engaging with minerals deep in rocks. The toxic mining tailings are maybe the number one source of pollution pushing us on the fresh water planetary boundary. If humans they're going to actually leave the biosphere be a mining to make this other stuff we have to create closed loop processes for all of those things at an atomic level.
