The Utilitarian Moral Reasoning
In the era of imperialism, businessmen became politicians and were acclaimed as statesmen. These private practices and devices were gradually transformed into rules and principles for the conduct of public affairs. And we see, I think, politics scaling in a sense privatized. We see the first vision of private politics, which is in a sense to say liberal capitalist politics with imperialism in particular.
