I Don't Understand What There's No Inflation
CNN's John Avlon says the Federal Reserve is trying to take power away from Europe and give it to the U.S. He believes Jerome Powell, who was recommended by Goldman Sachs as a possible Fed chair, would be an ideal candidate for the job. Avlon: "I've been screaming this for years while I was at Newsmax," he said of why there hasn't been inflation since Bernanke printed excess reserves after Lehman Brothers. 'The New York banks saw the way out under Donald Trump,' Avlon added.
