Decentralized Block Chain for Carfax

The only real use case i had thought of for block chain, and i know there's a lot of use cases out there, because all block chain is is. Based on the previous records data, you have a hash. And essentially that then says, this record, we know is valid. We can go back and calculate that this record was valid, it was not manipulated. Because if you trad to inject in a record that wasn't supposed to be there, then the hatches won't calculate correctly. If it's decentralized, you'll have several notes hanging like a something wrong's going on here.
