The Monologue

A lot of this record for me was a kind of escape ism and a, you know, it's no coincidence that the cover of the record is a t v. It ust sort ofc often do spoken word monologues into my phone, just when i'm feeling something, i'll press record and just sort of speak. And that's where that monologue came from. The song builds in this brilliant way with the monologue at the beginning. And then it steps up, and then you start singing, and i guess explore some of the ideas that are mentioned in the monologue in the words of the song,. or the monologue, it was almost its own song
